first of all i dont think haye gassing out and his corner throwing in the towel counts as being "knocked the **** out", he was stopped. and on his feet at that.

mormeck had him hurt, no badly but hurt. wobbly legs for a second but haye recovered quickly.

barrett did not knock down or hurt haye, thats just a blatant lie. some jackasses like you who dont like haye say he got dropped since he was hit as he slipped. but if you watch the situation its quite clear he went down from a slip. only biased truth bending chumps like you would even try to suggest otherwise.

solis also stopped him in the AMATEURS! come one man get real, we both know thats highly irrelevant now like 10 years later. it was a amateur stoppage, technical superiority. haye was never hurt in the fight and it wasnt a KO. another blatant lie on your part.

and yet another lie on your part.. mock dropped haye ONCE, not twice. and haye by coming back and scoring his own stoppage (which was a hometown stoppage) but coming back none the less proved it was the right choice to let him go on. a fight is stopped when the ref counts ten or a fighter cant defend himself. the ref didnt count ten and by coming back to win haye showed he was very able to defend himself.

stop being such a biased douche. you are by far the worst poster on this forum. if you dont like the guy thats cool, but dont make **** up.
I have to start by saying that I agree with you that it is a fact that Haye went down in the 5th round of the Barrett fight do to a slip. However, you believe that it was some fictional slip that never happened while I believe it was a knock down that came when ole Monte slipped a left hand off the side of Haye's noggin. I will also admit that I am no Haye fan but I am sorry anyone that watched that fight and believes that Monte did not knock down Haye is in some deep deep denial. Remember, just because the ref did not call it a knock down does not mean it did not happen. I recommend that you keep telling yourself that because in the end it may help you get through your denial. Now, some numbers to ponder.

Many if not most are claiming that Valuev has no power. Well, lets see what the numbers say. The Beast has 34 knockouts in 52 fights for a better then 65% knockout percentage. Now for the facts in numbers. Haye was KO'ed by Thompson a Cruiserweight with a 62.5% KO percentage in 40 fights. He was also dropped and seriously hurt by Mormeck who has a 59.46% KO percentage in 37 fights. And Haye was also dropped and hurt by Mock the Super Middle who has a whopping 29.27% KO percentage in 41 fights. And just for the ones still in serious denial he was dropped and hurt by by ole Monte with his overpowering 47.62% KO percentage in 42 fights. So, the truth is that the Beast may not be the most powerful big man on the planet. But, he may not have to be because the numbers don't lie and he has a higher KO% then any of the smaller men that have hit and hurt Haye. It may not matter if the Beast can't hit Haye but something tells me he will have no trouble hitting Haye. Now for some other numbers to ponder.

Haye has not fought in just about a year. And he has only fought 15 rounds in the last three years, and he has only fought 22 times. In that same time frame the beast has fought 62 rounds in either WBA title fights or in eliminators. The Beast has also fought in twice as many fights and is the first real heavyweight that Haye will fight. And as someone else stated somewhere else on Boxing Scene Haye is not Holyfield. And I really believe that the Beast has underrated boxing skills for such a big man and Haye may be in for the surprise of his life.

He wasn't KO'd by Thompson. He gassed out and his corner retired him.

If you see a car coming at you, and you are fast enough to move out the way, it won't hurt. Haye has fast reflexes and Valuev is slow. Holyfield does have so much experience but his lateral movmenet gave Valuev a lot of trouble.

I will say it again Haye has not fought in almost a year and no one really knows what kind of reflexes he has at heavyweight. Well then again he did have enough reflexes to get out of the way of the Klit brothers.

I just watched the fight on You Tube and Haye was not gassed out until Thompson dropped him and the end was close. And then he seriously hurt him again at the end of the round when the ref could have stopped the fight. I really don't understand the serious denial you all are in when it comes to Haye. And I will say this that even if Haye beats Valuev the first big heavyweight with any power and a little skill will destroy him.

Haye was gassed out, he was trying to hide it though.

That was a ****** fight Haye fought, akin to Ortiz vs Maidana

People have been getting the impression of this monster fighter as a slow, amiable, gentle giant who moves as if he's trudging through oil. But that certainlt didn't look the case here.
