my thing by saying if it was Floyd is when Mayweather does anything they make it a big deal but if another fighter does the same thing they sweep it under the rug its just not fair how he gets singled out in the boxing world and everybody acts like he never had a hard fight or his accomplishments mean nothing its just not right because Floyd has worked hard for what he has nobody just gave him millions of dollars and 6 world titles and a undefeated record he had to work for that and for people just to act like he has done nothing it just shocks me

The thing with Floyd is he got the #1 spot and stop fighting any real challenge. He is not fought a real legit risk since the Castillo rematch. Now a lot of his easy fights has been for exposure and money. And, I am fine with that. I am ok with every single fighter to take low risk/high reward fights. I would do the same thing. But, if you are going to do that you can't be called the best. To be the best you have to beat the best. Night in night out. However, somehow in this forum wanting Floyd to fight Shane is like a sin. And, I don't get it. Shane is the #1 WW. Floyd is the WW. So I don't understand why people don't want that fight? Nobody takes away what he did at 130/135. He is the PPV king, he is the face of American boxing, he is the biggest draw, he is the cash cow, but as of right now he is not the best and he can't be called best. He needs to fight the best to be the best. And, I don't get why his fans have a problem with that?

Everybody really knows what level Baldomir is. Is just the Floyd fans try to make his wins better than what they really are. If Pac would of fought Baldomir those same Floyd fans would say that Baldomir was not really good. If Shane would of fought him those same fans would say Baldomir was not good. If Cotto would of beat him. The same fans would say Baldomir is no good. Margarito would of done it people wouldn't care. And, etc etc... But, Floyd fans try to make it better than what it really is. I mean he was lineal, so it helped his legacy, it did a lil for history, and helped his resume look better. But, talent wise he was not good. The version of Hatton that Pac fought was better than Baldomir.

Are you bugging? Baldomir beat Zab Judah when he was the UNDISPUTED
champion, beat Gatti and went 12 rounds with the late Vernon Forrest.
Hatton got KO'd in the 2nd round against Pac. Again, some of the stuff
that gets posted on here is crazy.

If Pacquiao defeats Cotto, Mayweather Jr. is definitely in Pacquiao's hands. Pacquiao doesn't have to give in to any of Floyd's demands, because the ball would be in Manny's court. Who would Floyd fight- Cotto the loser, Mosley, De LA Hoya , Hatton, a prospect? Another light weight? P. Williams? Berto ? Clottey? Quintana? Margarito? Chavez Jr. is just a prospect that hasn't beaten any elite fighter. Sure Floyd could fight him, but it won't change his situation and if Manny wants Chavez Jr. he'll get him first.

I for one want Floyd to fight Cotto, Mosley and have
been outspoken about it. My thing is that how people on
here sometimes try to dumb down Floyd accomplishments
and pick out all his flaws to make him look like he ain't ****.
Pacquiao fought 3 easy fights, two of them were guys
Floyd already beat at their best but nobody points that
out. Also, Freddie Roach has went on record and said he
picks his fighters and tries to exploit their weaknesses to
give Pac the edge. Freddie Roach hasn't even put Pac
in the ring with a legit threat since JMM and it was people
at 135 they could of fought better than Diaz. Cotto fought
Corley and Zab after Floyd and each time he got rocked
but nobody says anything about that. The thing that kills
me is that people make up so much fiction about Floyd
and avoid the facts by disregarding them.

I am a fan of Floyd and the sport in a whole and I want to
see him get it on with Cotto and Mosley for sure but I just
can't cosign all the heat he takes when in actuality Boxers/fighters
since PBF/De La Hoya have been trying to do what Floyd did by
landing a mega fight. After Oscar/Floyd everyone started trying
to fight De La Hoya for the big payday. Floyd has his flaws and
issues but can't knock the hustle. Floyd has a big ego and I think
he knows he has to get it on with Mosley and or Cotto because
despite of what he says, he does care what the fans think.

Thats why the Floyd fans would be upset. Without Pacman, Floyd doesnt have his perceived highiest payday. Ignorant casual boxing fans want to see a fight between Pac vs Floyd. In my mind, Floyd vs Pacman is another mismatch in the lines of Floyd vs JMM. The fans deserves a "BIG FIGHT" thats also "COMPETITIVE!

Floyd fought fighters that others people beat and they weren't as nearly as good as Hatton & De La Hoya.

Pac-Man has been fighting bigger threats than Floyd. Nobody picked him to beat Oscar. Whatever happen to Oscar wasn't Manny's fault, but at least Oscar made the weight unlike Mayweather vs Marquez.

Cotto also knocked them out too. Mayweather fought Judah after he lost and Judah bearly took a break after the lost just three months while Floyd always takes 5 months up to a year.

Pacquiao and Mayweather should do something similar to what Hopkins and Jones are doing except do it like 40-40 with the last 20% going to the winner so the winner gets 60-40.

how can so called boxing fans know Shane Mosley was using steroids and justify that? since when is it ok for a fighter to cheat? if Floyd was on steroids they would want him banned for life but its ok for Shane Mosley
