This hypothetical actually reminds me of a poster from another site, who was GENUINE in his belief that IB needed to move up from 105/108 all the way to featherweight, where he could make much more money against the likes of Morales, Pac, Marquez and Barrera.

To answer your question - securing the fight in Puerto Rico should be more than enough for IB to score a decision over him. He might even stop him; Valuev could potentially throw out his back punching downward so often.
