Ok, before you Cotto guys jump down my throat, just know I'm also a Cotto fan...but I found this pretty funny.

I've been reading since late last year that Cotto's been seen doing Coke in night clubs in Puerto Rico and New York. Now of course, you have to take everything the media says with a grain of salt because we all know things get blown out of proportion. So last night a couple of friends of mine are debating Boxing and Cotto's name comes up. Now, my friend's Uncle who travels back and forth from NY to PR comes in the convo...now mind you, though he's Puerto Rican he's not an avid follower of the sport (at least not how he used to be). He steps in and tells us, "You know Cotto does Coke, right?". I start laughing at the idea, but then he looks at me and says, "I've seen it myself bro...it's no secret on the Island". Now at this time, my man is just denying it up and down while his Uncle is telling him in Spanish, "Why do I gotta lie about that? I saw the guy do it himself."

Are there any mainland Puerto Ricans here that can also confirm this?

Definitely not true. I live here in P.R. & the only rumor that goes around is that he likes to drink, in an interview someone asked him that & he said he goes out like any other guy his age would, go out & hangout.

But to say a celeb won't or hasn't done drugs in public is naive. I go to several music industry parties here in the city (with another member of this forum actually) and trust me when I tell you we've seen some crazy **** that even if it leaves the club and goes up on the blogs, people still prob wouldn't believe it anyway. I never put it past anyone to just be them regardless of the media.

Now of course it's one thing dancing in a club and just doin an 8-ball of coke and it's another being at the right place at the right time and seeing what you're seeing...which has happened to me several times with a few athletes and musicians. They're people too.
