Just reading on here to me I see more casual fans then people with real boxing knowledge. I see a lot of sheep/cookie cutter points of views as opposed to people who have really made up their own opinions on boxing matters.
When I say Hardcore I'm not saying a legit boxing fan necessarily. Just someone who is very actively interested in the sport. It doesn't necessarily mean they have a depth of knowledge on boxing or impartial views. My point is anyone who posts on NSB generally doesn't need 24/7 to convince them if they are buying a fight or not. Which is the point of the thread. So, the verbage could be adjusted but, as demonstrated by the poll 24/7 is generally not required to sell boxing forum posters.

I think they do because I always read on here how 24/7 gets some people hyped for fights so obviously it has an impact on people here.

If it is a fight that posters want to really see 24/7 may not be needed but if a poster is on the fence about a fight or not really digging a fight 24/7 can be huge for them getting behind a fight.

To me hardcore is hardcore, most people on this site do not fit my definition of hard core, most people here just want to have a circle jerk with those that share the same view.

Most peoples thoughts on here on boxing are laughable outside of the couple guys they know well, also hard core fans can appriciate (or at the very least understand) style they do not enjoy watching.

I used to think this place was full of hardcore fans, but I have come to realize while there are a decent ammount of hardcore fans there are way more casual fans here.
mmmm this doesnt happen very often but after a little deliberation. Ill take that back my comment was a little rash! there are so many people that post on here with very little knowledge and no next to fu*ck all about boxing and boxing history LMFAO

No chance that I would decide simply by watching a few 24/7 episodes. Don't get me wrong, if they are good, it can help build up the hype for a fight. Just not enough to make you pay $$ to watch it.

If someone was going to be swayed by it, I think this has been a bad example so far.

I thought it was a terrible opening 24/7.

24/7 has only been around for like 6 fights. Most people on here have seen way more PPVs than that. Besides, 24/7 can sell you a fight between a lion and a 1 legged gazelle and make it seem worth your $50. True boxing fans know when the fight is announced weather it's worth their money.

If you rely on 24/7 to figure out if you are going to purchase a card, then you are most likely a casual fan......

Hardcore fans buy it regardless of the show
