I would love to see a Cotto-Mosley rematch. I beleive deep down that Cotto does not want it again, then again- WHY SHOULD HE? Since boxing fans are always saying that the "triangle theory" is not applicable in boxing, then why is Mosley ranked the #1 WW if Cotto has already defeated him? What else does Cotto have left to prove in the WW division?... besides possibly fighting Mayweather, or re-matching Margarito (which could possibly raise doubts of whether his gloves were loaded or not)...

Cotto has to beat a Welter Weight champion for his title. I believe
if Cotto retires without doing that and settling for Vacant straps
that will no doubt be a - on his legacy. The best thing he could
do after Nov 14th is fight Floyd or rematch Mosley and try to win.
I say a Mosley rematch holds a lil more significance for Cotto
considering Mosley stomped out the one man to beat him and
Cotto has beat that man which is Mosley AND Mosley is his chance
to unify titles and become the Lineal champ. So I say he has nothing
to lose and everything to gain making that rematch happen UNLESS
after Pac, "IF" he beats Manny, starts to just look for big money fights.

Cotto would take a smaller cut against mayweather making da fight likely unless gayweather refuses once again to fight a true top ww.next big money fight is a rematch with shane because its a easy fight to promote with shane being a champion and their match being so close and shane beating da only man to beat cotto!

I wouldn't put it past Arum to match Cotto up with Cintron. He put Cotto in a bull**** fight with Alfonzo Gomez after Cotto had just came off the biggest win of his career. This fight may be a little bit more marketable than that since Cintron is PR. But I remember where that Gomez-Cotto fight totally bombed where TV ratings are concerned.

Well, it really depends how the fight develops, if we see a competitive fight put up by Cotto and Manny UDs him or TKOs him late, he gets full credit. If he Lets say dominates and KOs Cotto in 4 rounds, the is obvious that Cotto wasnt himself, because no way the Cotto that foought Mosley, Quintana Judah and margarito, gets dominated by any 140lber with ease.


The same applies for Cotto. if he wins quicly lets say, he sparks manny in 3 rounds, then its obvious Manny wasnt cut for 147, but if it is somewhat competitive and Cotto KOs him in 6 or 7 rounds or UDs him he gets full credit
