Income tax will now be at 50% for him, so I would imagine it's more that.
There is hate towards him based on his religion and race, you only have to look at Youtube vid comments to see that. But those people are clearly not the boxing community. They're just BNP supporters who go on there and rip out of non-white people who are famous.
My dislike from him comes from the fact he went to Sky Box Office and made people pay for his non-fights. Now he's a world champion it justifies it more, but back then it was a piss take. Other people who I know also dislike him for the same reason.
He should take it on the chin and continue to improve like he's done so far. Moving abroad stinks of tax avoidance and it won't go down well at all.

Anyway, American's tax laws aren't much better. If thats why he moved, he's in for a shock.
A new tax law that came into effect would have rich or high income earners like Khan paying 50% of their income to the tax man, a lot of people are living the UK because of that most of the british people who are in entertainment or sport try not to live in the UK anymore..

I'm not a Khan fan but he sounds like he's being sincere.
What I don't get is why countries don't embrace their own successful boxers more often?
Mayweather said the same thing about the US media and that he gets treated better in the UK and would one day like to move over there to escape the negativity in America.
