So heres what you do instead, start running!

I'm serious, get your arms pumping like the 6 million dollar man and start running backwards!

Your opponent will be shamed into coming forward, and then.........BOOM!

Pac sort of did this. When Cotto ran, Pac didn't run away, but Pac just stood in the middle of the ring and waited for Cotto to finish his nighttime jog.

Anyone who finds themselves fighting a runner should do the same thing. Just stand in the middle of the ring and let the runner do laps around the edge of the ring like they're in a skating rink.
