Due to Popular Demand... Official Froch vs Dirrell Scorecards!

wow some of those scorecards are rediculous. also ive been saying this for awhile now, whether you like the style dirrell used against froch is irrelevant, you cant deny dirrell won. he outlanded froch in the majority of the rounds and simply beat him to the punch. people are exaggerating this running thing, dirrell only did that in the middle rounds for about 2 or 3 rounds, but in all of the early and late rounds he stood in close quarters with froch and still hit froch at will. this fight wasnt even close. im sorry but it is impossible to make a case for froch winning this fight, i just dont see it.

You hit the nail on the head, people are giving reasons for their dislike of a fighting style, when none of that should matter, punches landed matter, which Froch rarely landed any. I wish Dirrell had been more offensive and stood his ground but not only did he outland Froch, he made Froch miss more, score that in that defense column, and the fact that Froch's aggression wasnt effective that's 3 criteria of judging that Froch lost for most of the fight. Dirrell should have that strap.

You hit the nail on the head, people are giving reasons for their dislike of a fighting style, when none of that should matter, punches landed matter, which Froch rarely landed any. I wish Dirrell had been more offensive and stood his ground but not only did he outland Froch, he made Froch miss more, score that in that defense column, and the fact that Froch's aggression wasnt effective that's 3 criteria of judging that Froch lost for most of the fight. Dirrell should have that strap.

I agree but two things: The reason Dirrell didn't stand his ground more was that he wasn't as physically imposing compared to Froch. It seems to me Froch does a very good job at cutting weight and he's very strong too. Again that isn't a scoring factor by itself (Rocky would have won vs Drago on points if it was). Another reason Dirrell stayed well clear of the big guy was that the ref wasn't penalizing Froch for REPEATED blows to the back of the head. Those are ILLEGAL and shouldn't be allowed, not even in England. The ref warned Froch only once and never did deduct a single point to him. I don't blame Dirrell for "running".
My scores were a 116-111 for Dirrell btw.

Yes I agree with this also. I get sick of us posters being the only one making a fuss about bad decisions, where are the people in boxing to argue or at least bring to attention that bad decisions wont be tolerated. Ive heard nobody who could possibly have some influence say anything about the Dirrell fight.

I personally had it 7-5 or 8-4 for Dirrell

but those cards are questionable IMO

the Belgium judges gives 7 of the first 9 rounds to Froch that meant that Froch dominated Dirrell early on when it's been pretty much conceded he didn't

the Italian judge inexplicably gives both the 11th and 12th round to Froch when clearly very very few people thought that way

this should have beena back and forth fighter on the scorecards and it wasn't with the exception of the judge from Mexico

The Italian judge screwed the pooch on that one. Anybody that gave Froch the last 2 rounds should be executed.

i didnt give dirrell a round so you must be soking something...the only round dirrell landed was round 10 and he had a point deducted...
