Hey Matt Christie - funny how you mention "Britain's Fabio Wardley, the number one contender" while conveniently failing to mention how he got his
number one ranking.

Uhhh...how did he get that number one ranking?

By beating fellow British-level tomato can Frazer Clarke? Or is it that murderer's row of a record he has?

Man, if either doesn't warrant a number one ranking, I don't know what does!

Well before i get all fired up about the person in question it just agitates me that Arum and all the rest could care less about anything other then a chance to draw a few fools into the tent again...... Arum said never again about this guy(more then twice) as do most promo boys, and platforms are just say line them up and we will show them on the screen for a price. But then they show up again, freak shows and no shows the whole lot of them, they hope fans will get caught in the hate um hope they lose mind set. Ehhh Boxing..............

The methods used by the various sanctioning bodies to rank fighters has been a source of bemusement for decades and the rise of Jarrell Miller to fourth from 13th in the WBA rankings, in the space of three months and without having a fight, is a worthy and topical case in point.?

Not sure how this works either. Just checked and he was 12th in their Jan rankings, 10th in Feb and then 4th in their latest March rankings

Fat Baby can be ranked #1A++, and it won't make a difference other than him getting an undeserved shot. He'll NEVER be a champion, because he is a fat, lazy, cheating, POS, who would rather use drugs than actually put in the work that it takes to BE a champion.

Miller nor Ortiz have done anything 2024. As per this article I know Miller has at least expressed interest and taken his case to the WBA. I can't say the same for Louis. Maybe the author could. I don't know

Fisher has done nothing since 2024

Gassiev has done nothing since 2024

Ituama is rated properly above Miller currently

Zhang's onlt lost since 2025

Charr's sued his way into rating

Kabayel is now belted and no longer rateable.

Fury is "retired"

Dropping Pero down is ****ty to do but I don't know what Pero and his team have to say to the WBA. He's the Latino champion so he has to be rated but he may not want any world level smoke. I don't know. I'd love that context.

Hunter is rated above Miller as he should be, no problem.

Wardley remains in pole position despite having done nothing in 25



Given the names above him are either still above him, sitting on ass with no intention to not be anymore, or their only activity is being KO'd, let Miller be 5. Why should I care?


Or to say that differently, yeah, Kabayel. Parker, and Daniel are the real top contenders, but they also decided they wanted those belts and what comes with.




Why should I fault the WBA if most the top guys want the other bodies ratings or titles?

He rose up to the ranks as if it was on steroids.

Wardley stops him middle to late in the fight, Miller just doesn't have the drive or motivation to be at the top or near the top level and age could become a factor also.
