boxing in 2025 is total madness .
this situation was easily avoidable if only canelo fought mbilli next. that would lead to scull - shishkin 2. sadjo would be the highest ibf contender. pacheco would go the wbo route (already #1). that would leave wbc route for iglesias (he's #3 bellow mbilli and pacheco who would get scrapped). that one decision would solve all the problems mentioned in this article. but pro boxing is almost never logical and we have this mess.
