most people are idiots. This is the same lard that had hopkins beating calzaghe.

They scored it 114-113 for Dirrell, but also said it was very close and some rounds could go either way.

They were going out of their way to NOT be biased in favor of the English fighter.

Bunce had it wider than Rafael, 115-112 for Froch.
That's a horrible example of objectivity.

. Don't know if the links will be updated or something. If it doesn't work, just go to ESPN boxing, then go to chat.
Dan knows that Froch was gonna rob Dirrell... Dan knows that if journalists say that Dirrell got robbed it ruins the super "fixed" tourny.

He's also the one that is showing off that he broke the news about the Super Six when I thought it was BoxingScene who did it first.

To me its one of those old-age things of the sport that just doesnt make much sense.
well what about winning rounds convincingly?

many rounds (especially the early ones) in the fight were close because of a lack of punch activity from both fighters

its not hard to get .. Dirrell didn't do enough to win convincingly

and in a title fight, you need to do that.

WHY in a title fight only do you need to do that.

Every fight should be judged by the same criteria. The title is incidental. Leave that outside the ring. Don't add that into the equation of scoring.

no... in a title fight, you just have to land clean effective punches and that's what Dirrell did.

there's nothing about having to win convincingly in the rulebook.

Dirrell I honestly think was alittle scared at first. Hopefully the next fight he'll have gotten rid of his nerves and make it a better fight.
