Did NYSAC overturned the Tank-Roach result?

I did not have or have time to look at this now. Just posting in case it happened.
    If not, forget about it.

They should have done it fight night, they should have ruled that was to be counted as a knockdown, a lot of states do that and will overrule the ref.

its even worse that not only did tank voluntarily take a knee, it was his own hair product hes claiming made him do it, ok that is his responsibility, nobody elses, he could shave his head if he wanted, i am sure a lot of fighters shave their head or buzz very short just to not have to worry about such things.

also weird hes had the same hair style for 10 years and never had a problem until the fight he was losing now he needs to take a free knee and break ok sure dude

Team Roach must protest it first. By filing a formal appeal or complaint with the NYSAC; In order to get the original verdict overturned. It's highly unlikely though. Since Tank has already promised him a rematch.

That knee should have been either ruled a knockdown or a disqualification by the referee; The moment that Davis' knee touch the canvas and walked back to his corner.

Once any part of a boxer's body touches the canvas. Then it is automatically ruled a knockdown and the fighter is given a mandatory eight count. Had either one of those scenarios have played out.

Then Roach would have easily won the fight.

Wish a commission had the balls to do it but I highly doubt it. Al and pbc would spend tons of money to not let this happen

The girl says she didn't put anything on his hair and even then he should've been DQ'd

It was the grease on the right hand that landed on his face!

Roach's team seems to be telling him the score is going to be revised and the decision changed to a W for him.

I've never heard of that happening, but I've also never seen a guy take a knee, his corner come onto the ring apron, and the ref just shrugs.

Never in my life. Not even in England.

The more likely result would be them disqualifying Davis for his corner getting up on the apron during the round and for working on his face during the round.

They have changed a draw to a DQ before. Badou Jack whooped Lucian Bute's ass and got a robbery draw, but then Bute failed a drug test and it was overturned to a DQ win for Jack. Not a no-contest like Haney/Garcia, but a straight up win for Jack.

i dont think they will do anything the draw is OK and the rematch will decide it as it should do yes tank got away with it and got a draw from it but its not the first time guys like tank are on the right side of stuff and it wont be the last time either he needs to rematch him and pay him WELL for it too
