If that is a move designed to force Canelo to fight David Benavidez, it won't happen. Honestly, I think it does not matter what Canelo does. Maybe his most ardent supporters care, but I think the rest of us are getting jaded over all the Canelo articles and arguments. He is choosing a certain path for himself that most of experts and fans alike disapprove of, but he is doing it nevertheless. Good luck to him and his supporters who are paying for his ppvs. I will not be watching his fights other than the Bud Crawford if it happens.

Yeah corruption of sports. The belts don't hold these guys accountable. He should have been stripped when he dodged benavidez and morrell. His loss to Bivol really mentally affected him, he called Bivol out thinking he was the weaker champ only to get smoked/shutout by Bivol not even 1 round won if so it was 1 max. Drop him from the pound for pound also take away his belts unless the #1 contender is next

He's earned the right to choose who he wanted to fight and even Mayweather Jr. would NEVER have taken the fights against a Bivol in his prime. You try and justify keeping Gervonta Davis in the top 10, who does belong there. What about Bud Crawford who fights once per year, and garbage opponents?!?!?!? Took the post right out of my brain. What a pathetic article. This is called prize fighting. And majority modern day boxers are guilty of picking weak opponents. Still none of them have the resume of Canelo. Sure his recent opponents are not like his past ones, still who has done better?

It wasn't until Benavidez didn't whine himself into a fight that he decided to actually fight some decent opponents. You know, one's that didn't lose already or that he couldn't weight bully. Crawford fights once a year and has picked weak opponents his whole time at ww. Then complained about it only to do the same to Boots. To add to that there's plenty of worthy opponents at 154 and even after securing a fight with Canelo will " wait for Caleno ". While Canelo stays busy in May.

I'm a Tank fan but he hasn't stepped up his comp. I agree he's entertaining, but something has to give. I can't blame him for this next fight because I believe he tried to make fights but they fell through. Loma retired, Lopez no, and Shakur is busy taking on cherries and disappointing fans. Haneys and his father been whining for a year after claiming he could've died in the ring only to go fight the same guy.

Only a few guys taking on challenges and they're not big money guys. Usyk, Bivol and Beterbiev, Dubois. Who else? Even Inoue who has a hell of a resume slowed down his last fight. the #3 moving up 2 weight classes? thats meaningless. if tank beats innoue then hes p4p #1? also canelo lost 10-2 to bivol so thats not very flattering, also he ducked benavidez who was #1 in his own weight division for years. he should never be on the list if hes scared of someone in his own division
