Needs to retire. Punch resistance is non existent now. He'll be flattened again by the first decent fighter with a bit of power

fair play to him he will need careful management but but it could happen if everything alings and he can get back to where he was, big if maybe

Excellent amateur but just short of the top in the pro game. I can see why he's signed up though. Conlan has a huge following and guarantees a promoter a sold out stadium in Ireland or the UK. So I'm presume this is money only as he's not winning a world title if his previous 4 or 5 fights are anything to go by.

He was matched carefully and managed to get a few decent names on his resume (wins against Baluta and Doheny) but ultimately he had to take that step up...he almost pulled it off against Leigh Wood early but ended up getting sparked out in the final round.

Getting stopped by pillow-fisted Gill is a red flag, his punch resistance is gone. Showcase fights against faded and limited opponents with names is probably the best bet.

The problem is Leo, Ball, and Figueroa are all volume punchers who will not leave you alone and those are the worst match ups for Conlan. Espinoza will flatten him. It might be easier if Conlan moves up to 130 for a title shot.

He was am excellent amateur but just doesn't have it in the pros.

Audley Harrison, Tony Yoka, David Price, Mick Conlan.

I put him in that category, he just doesn't have the physicality for the pro game.

Still bruns me that I lost £££ on him losing to Jordan Gill. Wasserman is very much the bottom of the barrell in terms of UK promoters.
