Haney took a beating in his last fight and has had a long layoff but I'm underwhelmed with the choice of opponent. Even in his prime, Ramirez would have struggled with Haney's style. Ramirez is far from his prime. Haney by boring UD.

So is this a 147 or 140 fight?

If it's at 147 I'm taking Ramirez all day. He's been boiling down to 140 far too long. He's been wanting to move up for years but Top Rank never gave him the opportunity.

Haney wins at 140, he's also huge for the weight but hes younger and has only been there for a couple fights.

Jose Ramirez, you need to make sure and make Haney fight, do not box with him. Throw punches at Haney's complete body, arms, shoulders, chest. Train with fighters with lots of movement. Lots of good smart movement and move your head.
