Hope Fury can stay healthy both physically and mentally. He may have lost both fights vs Usyk but so what? I feel he was perfectly capable of winning but he didn't and that's ok. He lost two close fights to a once in a generation talent. He wasn't blown out or embarrassed and certainly had his moments. He's a multiple time World Champion and depending on how you look at it had one of the if not THE greatest comeback in the history of sports. Would've liked to see him handle himself a little better at times but that's who he is. He really has nothing left to prove and while he's still perfectly capable of beating most any heavyweight on the planet, why bother and take more punishment than he would have just a few years ago? He has enough money to freeze hell over and still has his health and a beautiful family and enough fame to basically do just about anything else he wants to. Again, wish him well.

400 lbs suicidal and on coke and 3 years out of the ring with no one surprised if he ended up in a ditch somewhere back to Heavyweight Champion of the World. George Foreman is certainly also at the top of the list. I'd say Vinny Paz was pretty badass too. I had to learn to walk again (had doctors tell me I'd walk with a limp and a cane the rest of my life). Ended up becoming a firefighter and a paramedic and finished a half-ironman before covid. Lets hear about your comeback...

It's kind of insane how people now downplay Fury's comeback by saying how it was "only wilder" etc

His behaviour in the last 2-3 years has pissed me off as much as everyone else but you still have to give credit where it's due, his comeback was one of the most surprising things I've seen in boxing, I was CERTAIN wilder was going to spark him.

Not the point of my comeback or yours ( tip my hat to you by the way )
I just don’t believe he was ever on a comeback trail because exactly as you said he was partying etc etc
Sorry I guess we have different standards
To me his comeback is full of chit just like he is

Understand, it's a different kind of "comeback" than say Vinny Paz came back from and you can call a lot of his problems self induced. There are lots of varying views on mental health but the fact was again he was 400 lbs, binge drinking, eating and on coke and moments away from committing suicide in his Ferrari. After being out of the ring for 3 years and completely abusing himself he somehow was able to turn it all around and not just get back in shape and sober again, but become Heavyweight Champion of the World (again). You may view him as a dirtbag or a weak person but nothing fake or full of **** about his comeback.

He played you like he played everyone who believes his bullchit
If you think he’s clean , whether it be drugs or peds or wtv then you’ve fallen into his trap
I’ll say this much , thé man is far from ignorant and has performed a great task in convincing people that he was actually this weak person suffering
His plan seems to have worked out very well

I didn't say I believe he's completely "clean" but he obviously turned his life around enough to accomplish what he has. I find it hard to believe the entire thing was some sort of a game. Why? He was already on top of the world. To avoid a rematch with someone he had already convincingly beat? I'm sure some of it is a game with him and always has been. I think he still suffers with many of the same demons and hope once he retires for good he doesn't spiral out of control again. But what do I know? Lots of people believe David Diamante's whole motorcycle accident thing was a complete sham for attention as there's zero record of it with the police, no pics in the hospital (the ones posted were from a different time I believe) and he was back walking and working in an absurdly quick amount of time for his supposed injuries.

And also let’s see how far I can take it
Sorry , I just don’t believe any of it
Yeah that’s another story hard to believe ( Diamanté )
