It’s not like Bud/Spence did monster PPV numbers. With both fighters guaranteed purses Haymon likely lost money on that fight. Bud’s next fight bombed hard.
Tank isn’t a PPV level fighter but Bud has never been a big PPV draw either.

Yes, the Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence Crawford boxing match was a success on pay-per-view (PPV). The fight sold over 700,000 PPV buys and generated more than $59 million in revenue.

Definitely not a big success. Reports were it had to do over 850K to break even after they matched Spence’s guarantee for Bud to make the fight.
Big reason Haymon passed on being involved with Bud’s next fight after the rematch was declined.
