Yes, it is an amazing card, but these modern fighters are painful to listen to.
Go to 49.21 between DDD and Parker. Dev was literally begging or trying to whip up some smoke between them, but though DDD is improving, he's not a great talker and Parker could put a glass eye to sleep. A lot of the rest of the fighters on the card weren't fluent in English, but even if they were, they would have been stale
And then I got to thinking about other elite fighters, Crawford has the personality of a serial killer. Shakur looks the type to look at your phone and be like "any good games u got on there ?" Inoue doesn't speak English. Even at 14 years old Tank probably sounded like he's punch drunk, he ain't but like Errol Spence he has a way of talking like he's stoned out of his head. Ryan is crazy, not crazy in terms of his antics like a Mayorga, but crazy in a Kanye way. Devin needs to borrow his dads' personality.
Canelo ? Again, though his English has improved massively, he still goes into Spanish when he wants to talk proper.
AB and Bivol are Russian, and Russians don't have a personality. That's a scientific fact by the way. Even the guys coming up like Boots, he's boring. Moses Itauma is jedi level boring.
The only elite fighter I see with a bit of personality, who's a bit different and someone I could listen to is Teofimo
Where's Chris Eubanks Snr ? The Naseem Hameds ? RJJ ? Antonio Tarvers ? Mike Tyson's of today ?
