Is that what you’re saying?
If you have some nuanced version or excuse that explains why Fury ducked Anthony Joshua great, we'd all love to hear it but make no mistake it happened, that's not even debatable.Last edited by factsarenice; 01-13-2025, 10:12 PM.

I didn't mean to hurt your feeling but those Fury vs Chisora fights s-u-c-k-ed and that's not just my opinion, it's everyone that knows anything about boxing.
Except you of course.Last edited by factsarenice; 01-13-2025, 10:20 PM.

Wait, there’s more, Canelo v Crawford, another Turki special. Turki, how about a real fight that makes sense? The loser of Benny v Morrell to fight Canelo? Ever think of staging fights that make the most sense Turki? Now Turki wants another shot fighter Haney. Seems to me that Turki loves losers like the Brits who want two shot fighters Fury v AJ to get paid ridiculous money.
In Turki’s world, losers have a soft place in his heart. Wilder and Miller, keep losing and Turki will pay you even more. Soon Duran, Klitschko, and Lewis will be taken out of retirement. Turki, Mike Tyson needs another chance. How about Mike v Wallin, Klitschko v Holmes, Lewis v Anderson, Duran v Haney. Those fight are right in Turki’s sights. Imagine if Ali were still alive, what would Turki pay him? $1B?
Bakole who is most deserving gets put in the shelf. How on earth does Turki’s rationale make any sense?
As for Bakole, he has a promoter and it's not Turki. Bakole's promoter needs to get to promoting, do his job instead of sitting around waiting for Turki to pay his bills.Last edited by factsarenice; 01-13-2025, 10:14 PM.Oregonian likes this.

Thank you Tyson Fury for taking on prime Wilder. You were a worthy opponent to Usyk. Best of luck.

He may have some hardcore haters, but he gave 110% to it... thereby
giving us many great fights. If he does in fact retire, I wish him well.

However that doesn't erase the achievements he has.
He definitely should retire in my opinion as staying in boxing I think he can do little more than further sully his reputation.PunchyPotorff likes this.

I tend to agree with most of your posts so I won’t debate you on this. From what I know, Fury-AJ didn’t happen because of four reasons;
1). Wilder activated a contractual clause that forced a third fight with Fury
2). AJ was then forced to fight his mandatories. Usyk and someone else.
3). Fury was then ordered to fight his mandatory, Dylan White.
4). AJ got beat by Usyk and he also exercised his rematch clause.
I just find it hard to believe Fury ducked AJ because AJ would appear to be an easy fight for Fury.
What I will say is that if both really wanted the fight, they would have made it happen. They didn’t need belts to fight each other.
