At least the guy fights people. The people who hated Joshua were behind Wilder or Fury instead - 2 guys who did everything they could to avoid fighting anyone.

First decent boxer Fury fought since Wallin - he lost to. Wilder also got shown up once he finally started fighting live opponents. At least we always knew exactly how good AJ was without the hype of the other two because he actually fought top guys regularly. Pre-Dubois we also saw him get hurt in many fights (Whyte, Povetkin, Wlad, Ruiz etc). There was no illusion with him.

I think AJ cracked mentally against Dubois - boxing was terrible, no matter how well Dubois did. If AJ can come back from that he will be as good as he ever was.

I think an easy fight for Fury. Joshua is faded guy now. I think Fury is still n. 2.

That's the bonus for heavyweights who've had some success and knockouts, they get paid extremely well.

That is, even when fighters at a lower weight are more skillful, usually.

Factor in Saudi, and you're in the money.

Still, this fight between the two British that have been champions, people would watch, even though, to some extent, it's too late.

Come on now, we know that’s not how it went down lol. Are we going to conveniently ignore that Wilder is on record saying he turned down more money to fight AJ when picking Fury instead? He was also signed to fight Wilder, but it fell through after his upset loss to Parker in what was tagged as a warm-up fight.

AJ has fallen short, but no objective person can deny that he has repeatedly stepped up to embrace challenges and not run from any of them.
