    I don't know that Hearn is the most talented of promoters (he might be) but I am sure he is vastly out working (hustling?) all the other promoters

        I was thinking the same thing.

        You get 5,000 for a show in the U.S. and writers call it a disappointment and boxing is dying blah blah blah.

          Looked like much more but can’t see them lying about it

            On a side note...I couldn't get over how annoying the Australian commentator was was for the Opetaia/Nyika fight.

              The reason why it was 'only' 5000 people was because that's all the venue could hold...it sold out like 2 weeks beforehand - the truth is the Opetaia v Nykia card most likely would've filled a 10 or even 15 thousand seat venue (a stadium perhaps?) but due to Jai's (unfortunate) current lack of exposure in Australia the promoters were unsure of his ability to put bums on seats...Somehow I don't think they'll make that mistake again
