Nyika's corner choked, not throwing the towel was three punches late. After the first knock down, the corner failed to anticipate the damage on the horizon. Understanding the step up, level of competition for Nyika, his team surly had pre fight conversations for this type of outcome and steps to take in real time to prevent the type of damage Nyika endured.

And somebody might say that hindsight, but I'm pretty sure when that ref counted and sent him back out everybody on this site knew he was going down again.

I mean, I've seen a ton of kos and this wasn't THAT bad or scary imho. With that said, hope the kid is ok.
