Yankee doodles can't understand that boxing in the UK and Europe is huge. Eddie is not ******, he knows fury v josh will sell Wembley 3 times out. Eddie knows this fight doesn't have to sell a single ppv in Yankee Doodle land. It will sell hugely in Europe and around the world. It's a huge fight. Fancy fury . Josh looks like he's not got it anymore. Fury less so.

Originally posted by BoxerWriter View PostFury vs Joshua at Wembley in June. I think it's almost inevitable unless Fury decides to retire. Although they'll make huge money. it's a massive risk for them both, even more for Fury than it is for Joshua. I make Fury the favourite at this point, but if AJ manages to clip Fury with a 'punch from the gods' and sends him rocking and reeling like Usyk did then it will be a lot worse for his pride and his legacy than losing two close fights to Usyk who is now considered an ATG by most. On the other hand, if Fury outboxes and outpoints Joshua then AJ isn't necessarily finished. In many ways, if it's a fairly competitive and entertaining fight then he would be ending his career on a better note than flat on his face with Dubois standing over him. So, in my eyes, Joshua has more to gain and Fury has more to lose. I think Fury is smart enough to realise this too and that he might be better off denying AJ the chance altogether by retiring. I just don't see Tyson walking away. He fought well in defeat and he's not shot yet (even if his punch resistance may be fading). If he genuinely thinks he can box the ears off AJ then I think he'll take the fight. I'm sure his pride is still hurting after the Usyk defeats, but if he beats AJ in style at Wembley before he retires then he can at least say he fought almost all the best heavyweights of his generation and beat Klitschko, Wilder, and Joshua. The only crazy curveball I could see is if Klitschko really does come out of retirement and they make Fury-Klitschko II, which is as insane as it is unlikely. If that happens, and AJ is left without a dance partner, I could see him fighting Wilder rather than Dubois. If I was Eddie, that's the fight I'd work on for Joshua if Fury falls through. Wilder might be shot, but Joshua is coming off a bad knockout too and I'd still watch it even after all these years.MulaKO likes this.

Makes the most financially to go after Fury. DDD would be a bad matchup for AJ because at any given time, again, he can get taken out. With Fury, whose probably nearing retirement after the two Usyk losses, he probably has less to be worried about concerning getting knocked out again. It's a fight he can potentially win as well. The amount of money they'll both make would be, go into retirement after and enjoy it all.

Fury might have lost a step or two but AJ's chin went a long time ago. Once your punch resistance is gone, it is just a matter of time until it reveals itself again. Fury by KO.
I hope AJ doesn't fight Dubois again as it will be a massacre. Chin is gone. Time for AJ to hang it up before he suffers severe brain damage.

Repeating BS over and over doesn’t make it the truth. Nobody cares outside of Britain and even that’s waning

The Fury who beat Wlad and Wilder would annihilate Joshua but the big guy is slowing for sure which makes it more competitive .'I'd still say that Fury wins but with all the young guys and exciting fights to be made I wouldn't be at a loss if they said goodbye.

They’re cashing out with Fury , they know they can’t beat Dubois and if he loses again he has no leverage for fighting fury
Smart but cowardly
