Alright I’ve let it go to far
Change of pick after reading that his opponent is seemingly looking forward to being in a hospital after his fight

At the same time, something feels off about Opetai since the second Briedis fight, but I think he has enough to put the dude away. I don't know how I feel about him as a distance fighter anymore. He looked awkward against Briedis and even though he got the TKO against Massey, he still looked damaged to me. If he beats Nyika, and he should, I'm not sure he gets past Zurdo anymore.
Had him winning by decision but after what I read ; fugh that

The guy looks tough, but he's extremely basic from what I've seen. I wanted to bet on an early KO for Opetaia (and that's still my pick here), but after I read they have sparred a lot in the past I'm not betting anymore. Strange things happen when two opponents know each other well (or, worse yet, are friends - an exception being Simon Brown vs Maurice Blocker in 1993 - what a fight that was). I would not be surprised if Opetaia wins on points.Last edited by Tatabanya; 01-07-2025, 03:49 PM.
