I think Canelo would beat Benavidez, if he still has enough left in the tank.
Andrade was clamoring for a fight with Canelo for a long time, of course, for the money. It would've been a mismatch and Canelo would've knocked him out.
If Canelo has not diminished he would have a good chance to beat David. If he avoid punches and lands counters that will slow David down and have him thinking his approach. The same happened to GGG, he had to open up with caution.
Canelo should just retire and do exhibition for the Money. He no longer wants to face the best. In reality if anyone beats him now, people will say he was already past his best.
Wonder what Andrade’s career would’ve been had Saunders not gotten popped for cheating leading into their fight s f had Canelo not left the division without unifying with him ehile eventually and ironically unifying with Saunders. At least Andrade had the balls to do what canelo doesn’t and face Benavidez and his view on this fight is exactly why canelo won’t take the fight. The volume punching that Benavidez puts out won’t go well for Canelo who prefers to fight at a slower pace due to his stamina issues.
