And yet again, we see the same old nonsensical line of “Lewis, who defeated every man he faced in the pros,”.
Lewis got knocked the phück out by Rahman and McCall. Both perennial flash in the pan journeymen. To use those words is to try to subtly hide the losses Lewis suffered.
Calzaghe, Floyd, Andre Ward, Marciano and Boots defeated every man they faced. That is an absolute statement.

Lewis better than all the fighters you just mentioned and it’s ridiculous to group bootsy ennis with any of these fighters that’s a joke right?

You've typed nonsense there, friend.
It's right there in the article:
"Lewis, who defeated every man he faced in the pros, which meant recording victories over Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman – who had previously stopped him".
Fury boxed a really good disciplined fight and he still couldn't beat Usyk. Just a fantastic talent who's going in there giving up 30-40 pounds and beating these guys with pure skillset. The fight was abit closer than the first one imo though, but again usyk did enough in terms of his output to get the win. Who knows what he does next if he wants another big day against the winner of Dubois/parker and a chance to become undisputed again or he might just say he's done enough now which would be totally fine aswell. As for fury he might call it a day but I think the chance to fight Joshua in just a big payday fight might entice him to stick around
I think Lewis is wrong here. The reality is that whatever Fury did, there was no way he would win the fight. Nothing he could do within the frame of boxing rules would allow him to win. 100 out of 100 fights Usyk wins. He has Fury’s number and is better in every aspect of boxing.
Being bigger and having a spare tire isn’t much help when your opponent punches harder, has better defence, stamina, footwork, speed, chin and heart.
There’s a reason Fury was avoiding Usyk for so long. He knew this was likely the outcome. He knew it, his dad knew it, his coach knew and even his fans knew it despite their put on denialism. In hindsight it makes sense why he only wanted to fight guys like Ngannou and Chisora etc. That way he could look good and keep his image. Finally he had to take the fight and face the first elite level opponent since Wlad and now he’s 0-2 in his last fights.

Only phrase better than this is "his lone two defeats".

Ward did not, got 2 gifts against the big bad Russian.
Lewis is right about what Fury should have done, but you have to be in a certain place mentally to fight that way and Fury hasn't been there for years.
I've said it a thousand times but the second knockdown in Fury vs Wilder 3 essentially finished Fury as an elite level fighter, I saw the fight leave his eyes and it never returned since then.
If you doubt me go back and watch that knockdown, fury sits on the floor, sighs and you can tell he's thinking about not getting up. He did, and won the fight because wilder was gassed, but that was the end of fury's career at elite level.
He's been forcing it for the money ever since, when he retired after Whyte I am one of few who believed he meant it, he knew he was done, but you know Fury is bipolar and loves the spotlight so he soon came back for money and attention.
Usyk on the other hand is still in love with the game and we see that in each and every performance.
