Fair play you don't often see honesty like this.

''Farther'' though, the headline reminds me of this clip from Jeremy Kyle.

      Dave won. No doubt.

But if I was Dad, I wouldn't comment. Why do that? It won't change the outcome and only make your son looks bad, imo, if you say it.

I will say that David Allen used a lot of tricks and pushed the rules a bit for that win. Holding the head with one hand/arm and hitting with the other. Headlock and hit. A few rabbit punches. It wasn't clean, but it was a win.

Fisher is just the latest Brit hypejob to get a gift decision.

You get hype jobs both sides of the pond.

However, Fisher isn’t anything special. Doesn’t have a boxers stamina and his instincts under pressure are dangerously wrong. He get seriously hurt if he turned his back like that against someone like Itauma.

He should take a tune up or two before refacing Allen. Too much to correct for an immediate rematch. Doubt he’ll ever get beyond domestic level as zero defence. He’ll have a very short career unless he corrects that.

When you have to take a tune up for Dave Allen, things dont bode well.

People like Fisher because of his personality/fun style.

No one is hyping him up to be a world beater. Just someone who will be in some exciting domestic dust ups

Johnny Fisher himself has said he's just proud he made it to the end and isn't ready for a rematch. Reckons he took a huge punch in the second and wasn't the same. Surprised he made it out of the 4th.

Gotta respect the honesty at least.

Why does a yank always trot out this line? About anyone as well. Back in the day they'd tell us Gary Lockett was a hypejob or Michael Jennings, lol.

He's a ticket seller with a fan friendly style. Not everybody in this game is going to win a world title. Fisher is quite clearly domestic level and thats absolutely fine. 5,000 people from his town will watch him fight and they make an event of it. He'll be looked after and he won't randomly be thrown in with anyone far exceeding the level of an Allen. The likelihood is he won't win a British title but he should be good enough to fight for it.

There is obviously a few British fighters who have some legitimate hype from the British boxing industry why don't you file their names away and wheel out this dogs.hit when they get beat? Not just any Brit anywhere who loses fight that you've seen.

I'll give you a few: Hamza Sheeraz, Adam Aziz, Moses Itauma (he's a good one for you - only 19 so you can be really pathetic revelling in any failure he has).

I just don't know why we still do this crap on here.

Can't you just watch a fight, quickly figure out the level of it, enjoy a competitive fight for what it is?

I'd rather watch a 100 Fisher/Allen fights than a squash match between a prospect and an opponent.
