The WBC is truly becoming as sad as the WBA. Why just reinstate Jack? Why not have Jack vs Rozicki for the vacant belt?

Whatever. I'm guessing Jack vs Rozicki is next anyway.

Jai has a better win on his record in his short career than anything Jack has done in 10 years of boxing. Dude needed to be handed a title by the WBC to remain relevant FFS.

Badou Jack has wins over Anthony Dirrell, George Groves, Lucian Bute (they initially robbed Jack but then Bute was DQ'd for failing a drug test), Nathan Cleverly, and Ilunga Makabu plus a draw with Adonis Stevenson and a robbery draw against James DeGale and a robbery loss against Jean Pascal. Plus he fought through that absolutely horrific cut against Marcus Browne.

What the WBC has done today is a joke, but it does nothing to invalidate what Badou Jack has accomplished in his career. He has fought excellent competition and has carried himself with class. The WBC shouldn't have reinstated his title without making him fight for it, but Jack absolutely is deserving of a big fight. They promised him a shot at their nonsense bridgerweight belt and didn't deliver.

If I was Noel Mikaelyan I'd not be best pleased

WBC treating Jack like he's a superstar but he has no fan base whatsoever and is just a good to very good fighter way past his prime and far from being elite

The annual We Be Corrupted convention. Where mandatories and fights are called which they have no serious desire to actually enforce
