Whether he deserves it or not, Pulev is taking that belt home. Even if that means referee and judging shenanigans. Which is a shame. I really want to see Charr make a second defence against the likes of Wardley, Hrgovic, Bakole or someone else just outside the Top 5. I think he'd do better than Pulev would.

What are you even talking about? The last time Charr fought anybody with a pulse he got knocked out by a cruiserweight almost ten years ago. He's had two hip replacements. He can barely even move.

Charr is a bum, always has been, always will be. Every time he stepped up, he got KOed.

Pulev isn't very good either, but he had at least some moderately good wins. He is 43 now though. I will never forget him angrily calling for a rematch just minutes after Wladimir Klitschko had knockend him spark out with a left hook. That was hilarious.

It's not just that Pulev has a few decent wins, it's that he has actually fought people with a pulse period and far more recently than Charr. Even a loss to Chisora or Joshua is better than anything Charr has done in a decade. At least he competed.
