Well done to Gervonta for recognising his weaknesses and for seeing what he needs to do to be better as a human beyond boxing which after all will just be a stage is his life. I just hope he achieves his full potential in the next year or so and leaves the sport with no regrets

Talk is cheap. He's a serial woman beater, a drunk driving hit-and-run scumbag, and on top of that he's the biggest cherry picker since Demetrius Andrade. If he wants to make amends he could start with the actual people he's hurt instead of doing a woe-is-me press conference to elicit sympathy he doesn't deserve.
