Numbers don’t lie. Boots recent 16 bouts are vs opponents with combined 65 losses… what does that tell you??

This is a bad look for Ennis. Regardless of management issues, he ultimately approves who he fights. If a Saudi-backed event against Ortiz cannot entice him, then all this bluster about being avoided is 100% kuso.

      HeyDeebo! A.B Counterhooks likes this.

I do not know who is the more de****able character in this particularly pathetic story. It seems that Boots is the one. Sleazy Eddy has many horses in his stable, but Boots who was supposed to be his own "stallion", a pure breed, see the BS trainer - postman hyperbolic appreciations, exposes himself as what he really is - A NAG!

I 've said countless times and I 'll say it again that the day Boots fights a good fighter who can punch and also can match his physicality, he will be in serious trouble and it looks like that will be the case with Virgil Ortiz so am not surprised they swerved that fight. By the way, it looks like Ortiz has agreed to fight Madrimov so that SOB getting nothing but praises from you. Shame on u if you have any negative to say about Ortiz 'cos this MF will truly fight anybody.

You see when Boots was with Showtime and Espinosa he wasn't getting the top tier fights but he fought often and was being progressed nicely. Espinosa had a strategic plan for him after Showtime got out the biz. He would take Boots to PBC where he would be one of a handful of PBC stars that would be showcased on Amazon. Boots, Tank, Spence, Canelo, Jermell, David (Morrell and Benny) and a few others. Boots would have had access to PBCs entire roster of 147 and 54. All he had to do was fight a d the business would've taken care of itself. But Boots jumped the gun for the quick and easy Matchroom cash. Now just after 2 fights Boots realizes Hearn has no plan no strategy and no future for him. He knows if he stays with MR every fight will be this chaotic clusterfuqk of Hearn desperately trying to string some BS together. And to add insult to injury, the only American promoter he has access to to try and make fights is Oscar. And after last weeks CLLLLAAPPP BBAACCKK TTHUURRDDAY how realistic do you think that is.
Boots seems like a decent kid, but when he talks, I can just visualize "short bus". Whoever led him to Eddie should be prosecuted for business malpractice.

I explained this in another post last week. Amazon didn't give Pbc a budget just a platform. Espn isn't renewing the TR contract so they have no budget. Hearn ran thru a $6 billion budget with nothing to show for it and the Russian cut off his budget. GBP is on a fight-by-fight basis with Dazn and they have no budget. So it looks as though all the companies don't have any money but Pbc is the only that has put on successful PPVs over the last few years...but they have no money OK!!
PBC sold two Canelo fights and the other three didn't sell shyt. With the help of an insider the PBC looted a trust fund, burned through the money along with every network they contracted with. The PBC used other peoples money and now Haymon has to actually put his own money up for Amazon cards and so fair it's been a financial bloodbath. The PBC was never profitable, it was always an unsustainable ponzie scheme and today, nobody is wants to invest in it anymore.

As for Top Rank, right now Bob Arum has a budget, next year he may or may not. Bob is still in negotiations with ESPN and Top Rank has a history of bringing up talent and making money on their fights, it's hard to say. Eddie Hearn ran through a few million, not 6 billion. In total DAZN's entire loss was only 1.2 billion globally trying to build out an entire sports network. For the record, DAZN can't be hurting too bad, yesterday they spent a billion for the world cup broadcast rights. DAZN is not a boxing outfit, it's a global sports site with enough money to buy up everyone not named Turki Alalshikh.
