I also feel this way about watching a boxing event in Japan. There is just no crest of emotion to the crowds there. Nothing feels organic, everything feels scripted. It doesn't detract from the quality of the fight- that is 100% on the boxers in the ring. It kills the energy.
The big difference, in Japan the arenas are full with men and women, whereas in Saudi nobody gives a F about boxing and women have to get a Man’s approval a special government permit to attend. The place is 100 years arse backwards. Do you know of anyone who says… we’re going to Saudi for vacation? F no!!!!!!

At least the Japanese show up to the fights and make noise before and after the fight. The Saudi arena just has members of the House of Saud and business people sucking up to them. Riyadh Season is supposedly about driving tourism to Saudi Arabia , but they never show anything fun to do there. I've been all over the M.E. Turkey used to be pretty fun but the rest of it is just depressing.

It's a shame too , there are a lot of absolutely stunning women under those baggy tents that they make them wear. Especially if you like brunettes like I do. What a waste. Nevermind the waste of brainpower .

all that matters is the best fighting the best and the continually uprising of new names because the sport don't stay stale. have them.on mars or the pits of hell, the only reason any of us watch is for entertainment. for those on here who take themselves too serious, go watch golf
