Boots first fight on Dazn in Philly against David I-be-sneezin drew a crowd of 14,119 fans. This fight on the same network in the same city in the same arena against the same type of European opponent drew an announced attendance of just shy of 10,000 people. Which means not only has Dazn failed to raise his profile but he regressed in his own city. If Eddie Hearn stays true to form like he did with Andrade, Devin and Subriel then expect Boots to be kicked off Dazn by close of business this week!

This is a bad style match up for Boots because Karen's fast twitch defensive movements are just as quick as his. And when Karen decides to run like a chicken it makes him harder for Boots to hit. Sometimes you just move on to the next opponent. Canelo did not give Erislandy Lara a rematch and Trip-G never gave Danny Jacob's one either. The problem is Dazn doesn't have the power in America to move past that fight while keeping the IBF 147 belt. He needs to ditch that bum azz network and get back with the 'Muricans!

Hearn knows that Boots (and Shakur) will be going to PBC after their next fights so he has to cash him out now. That's why Hearn is going to beg Oscar for a 5x5 so he can cash in Boots vs Virgil and Shakur v Navarette. But unless you guys are a loyal follower of CCLLAAPPPPP BACK THURSDAYS like I am then you know that ain't gonna happen mane! Oscar is a top5 all time American PPV star and he will not lose money on those fights in Saudi Arabia. Oscar knows the big money is the "bruvahs" vs the "vatos" in Vegas. It doesn't get any bigger than Boots vs Virgil and Navarrete vs Shakur. For shytes and giggles let's say Oscar's wer dreams comes true and both Virgil and Navarrete get sensational KOs. Recency bias. Although I feel like Boots getting hit clean has been happening for a while now, the difference is he typically stops the opponent so the defensive lapses are forgotten.

Lost in all of this is that Karen fought a helluva fight. Withstood alot of shots and landed spiteful punches. I think a lot of fighters would have struggled with the Ukrainian last night.

Anyway, Boots vs Vergil is an interesting matchup. Both have heavy hands and aggressive styles and both have defensive liabilities. I'd probably favor Boots but it's really a Pick'em.
