Comments Thread For: Jack Catterall outsmarts Regis Prograis in a battle of wits and left hands

Scores seemed pretty far off. Right guy won but the scores make me think Prograis would have needed a KO.

Catterall is a good fighter for the anemic 140 UK fighters. Hearn will not expose Catterall to fighters like Teo or Hutchinson especially on US soil.

The Matchroom model is to create fights in the UK against their B level fighters or American gatekeepers past their prime.

Ever since DAZN started managing the checkbook and not giving Hearn a blank check, Hearn has found a sucker in Turki who is funding Matchroom. However, Matchroom fighters are being exposed at an alarming rate, even by his bitter rival Frank Warren.

Hearn will give Catterall a shot at Paro since he can control the purse. If Hearn’s fighters are not fighting on an opposing Promoters event, or if Turki isn’t paying the bills, Hearn is paying his fighters garbage when the tab is on him, which is why he doesn’t have a care in the world throwing AJ to the wolves in order to enrich himself no matter the danger AJ is facing as a shot fighter, who like Maverick in Top Gun just won’t engage anymore knowing any tap to his jaw, ends in a sure KO.

            Really ???
            i can't say s×cked ?

No wonder this place is a desert.

Boxingscene has gone waaay down since the new owners bought it.

I imagine the Engagement on this site took a massive drop.

            Congratulations to the new owners!!!
You took a Good boxing site and turned it to trash.

            If im being synical.
            I'd say it was intentional.

Some guys can't ever be in a boring fight , Jack Catterall is the exact opposite. It might work for him but it sure isn't entertaining to watch.
As far as Regis Prograis goes , now would be a great time to hang up the gloves while he's still got his health and faculties intact. Go travel the world and enjoy the money that he's earned.

The Hatton /Flint fight was good. I agree on the rest. It was a lame card. Even worse was the CES card on Friday night. It was one of the few times that I've turned off the TV while boxing was on. There was not one good thing about that card , starting with the production values. The whole thing svcked donkey dlck.

I don't know why they would have been exhausted at any point in the "fight" , unless feinting and circling each other is harder than it looks.

I know why - Catterall was running backwards 100 miles an hour and Prograis was chasing him throwing wild haymakers and missing. That exhausts a lot of energy for both guys.
