Prescod looks like a fighter to keep an eye on . He was really composed and seems to have a good pro style . He sure didn't look like a 17 year old making his pro debut.
Giovanni Marquez is coming along nicely. That right hand that wrecked Guilemette was a cruise missile. He needs to stop going straight back and Raul is smart to have him staying in and fighting instead of going in and out. That's a great ability to have in your arsenal.

Red Owl Boxing got some press, right here on Boxing Scene, maybe a year or two ago I think. In my mind, I liken them to OTX Boxing out of Atlanta, or Jake Paul's MVP Boxing minus having a huge name at the top of the bill such as Jake Paul or Amanda Serrano (not that I'm a women's boxing-lover, but I understand she sells tix...though with the drop in women's boxing lately, I do wonder how much of that was BS the last few years). Red Owl is primarily a prospect series and they try to showcase Houston-area talent, just as OTX does for Atlanta. Besides showcasing prospects, I think all 3 companies also target a younger demographic through social media. OTX has a tiebreaker round I think if it's a draw after the scheduled distance, though it could still be a draw after the tiebreaker round. They also have bonuses for KO's, which I'm a fan of. I've yet to tune into any of these cards, but I'm all for smaller companies building up these fighters that aren't signed to Top Rank/Matchroom/PBC/Golden Boy, as well as exposing younger fans to this great sport.
