I live in Japan working a job that has a ton of American coworkers, but some of the conversations I've had makes me proud of my self control to not lol on the spot.
Not intending to sound like a misogynist but a female coworker in her 30s was complaining about how it is so hard to find jeans that fits average normal body Americans like her in Japan because everything is so small. I'd say she is around 5'4 which isn't that much taller than typical Japanese females, and was talking about how there aren't any jeans over 40 inch waist without getting insanely long, big ones and trimming the bottom.
Sorry but a country that has adult females thinking a jeans for 5'4" with above 40 inch waist being "normal" has other problems IMO.
40 inch waist on a woman is obscene. I'm a 31/34 so I understand it being hard to find a long inseam sometimes. even at my very biggest (260lbs before I stopped drinking) I was a 36 inch waist which I considered to be disgustingly obese/bloated.
