Comments Thread For: 'Animal' Artur Beterbiev repaired and prepared for undisputed Dmitry Bivol clash

Artur Beterbiev is a man of few words but the hugely-capable WBC, WBO and IBF light-heavyweight champion has said he is 100 per cent fit and focused on his October 12 unification bout with WBA king Dmitry Bivol.

That is good. I don`t want any excuses for his loss after the fight.

The knee is a big question mark in this one now. I liked and was going to take the odds against a Bivol KO back in June but those will probably tighten up a bit now.

Still hyped for a great and consequential fight, just hope it doesn't end up looking like Cotto vs Martinez or something.

The fact that you remember the Cotto-Martinez fight means you know boxing.
I really thought Martinez would KO Cotto before the 6th and I like both of them. Those wobbly legs just gutted Martinez.

In this fight, I had Bivol beating Beterbiev by UD before the injury but now I think Bivol will stop Beterbiev. A knee injury is a death sentence in boxing.

          Hmmm.
          Prepared of?
If Beterbiev was across the ring from me with that look (in the article's pic) I wouldn't be so snarky, though.
Dude really does look like an animal.

Hes going to kill Bivol and I like Bivol. Beterbiev could be in a wheel chair and he still could whip ANY 175 pounder.

I'll believe it when they're both in the ring and the bell has rung on October 12. This fight has taken way too long.

Truly a 50/50 fight that could very well end in a draw.

This fight is not 50/50 even if Artur's leg is not 100%. Maybe 60/40 for Biev. Bivol has light power and Biev is a f'in killer. Alot of copium going around. Bivol was considered a weak beltholder pre Canelo. Canelo is mainly hype. Bivol is still an easy night for Biev.

If Biev is 100% it's domination and Bivol gets stopped. If Biev injures the leg or is at 80%, Bivol might win a UD. But those saying he will stop Biev are hilarious. Biev eats big punches and doesnt stop. Bivol is not a big puncher.

Bivol is sure to test the condition of that knee making him step left and right at the end of a jab .
