Dubois got gifted a shot v Usyk, then a belt he never earnt in the ring.

Just because he headbutted his way to a trash belt then fought and destroyed a delusional chinny hype job ex champ who ducked all major contenders he's suddenly vindicated ?

Fück right off with that shït!!!

Put him in with Joseph Parker, who earnt his interim champ in waiting status to clear out the final remnant from the last era before claiming he's started a new one.

    Why ?

Because Joseph OILSKIN Parker IS the last man standing from that era. He's the real deal bogeyman for everyone in the division. The forgotten man who's barely got a mention in anyones books.

Beat Parker fairly and squarely then Dubois can legitimately claim to have started his new reign. Until then enjoy the pundits plaudits but dont think he's earned anything, because he hasn't.

he hasnt earned anything? what do you mean? wilder was gifted a shot against a guy who was gifted a belt vs arreola, and then wilder had 10 title defenses against bums. dubois already has a much better resume than wilder and he has 0 title defenses. they dont matter. what matters is fighting good fighters and he has already done that in impressive fashion. he didnt try to manufacture himself as "the biggest puncher ever" like wilder who has a 25% ko ratio against top 10 opponents, compare that to dubois who has a 50% ko ratio and has already ko'd more top 10 fighters then wilder. hes putting in the work whether he has a belt or not. wilder thought simply having a belt made him great or made him relevant but now that wilders career is over oops he has no resume to fall back on.

Technically Dubois has a title defense now... Points taken on both sides though, IMO. As far as I'm concerned, Usyk remains the real and only champ. Both Parker and Dubois have some very good wins now, and as underdogs for all to boot. Not sure why one guy needs to be put down to appreciate the accomplishments of the other.

they both should be appreciated and respected, while guys who chose to fight tomato cans like wilder should be criticized and mocked

The IBF pulled some shït to gift Dubois one of Usyk's belts and destroyed the Grand Unified Undisputed rematch between Usyk and Fury in December.

Dubois didnt earn that belt in the ring by beating the legit Champ. He bent the knee and quit vs the Champ when he had the opportunity.

          Facts!!!

And as for playing whaboutisms in comparison to Wilder ?

No one gives a flying fück about the King of Wakanda guzzling Ayahuasca while getting smoke blown up his ass by his lol trainer anymore!

No one, except his diehard fanbois and Princess Joshy stans still drowning their sorrows sucking down salt flavoured beer and looking for any opportunity to sweet caroline their drunken asses at the next AJ humiliation.

                True to some degree.

I'm all for strap holders fighting legit contenders when they're at their peak but that's not what Wilder or AJ or Fury did and there's the danger Fisheyes will do the same for Dubois.

Parker is peaking. Dubois is peaking...FIGHT!!!

                  I get that.

But using $$$ as an excuse to duck contenders and hold belts ransom with a-side demands, rematch clauses, low ball offer and aging out fighters or marinating fights til theyre rotten while pretending you're all about fighting the best has turned the sport into a joke without a punchline.

Pro boxing is in the entertainment business.

Dubois asked are we not entertained ? Well quite frankly...no not really but thats a rabbit Warren i'd rather not go down.

...and yet, here i am, making my own.

                  Enjoy...Lol

He didn't get gifted a shot against Usyk. He won the vacant interim title. Then he beat Bryan for the regular that would give him a shot at the champion. Someone else could have done that but they didn't. It's good matchmaking and understanding how to get your opportunities. And of course winning in the ring.

Then after losing to Usyk he took chances. No-one really knew what Miller had. Hrgovic was considered a massive threat to everyone. And he was a big underdog against Joshua.

There's no fluke in any of that. He (and his team) made it all happen.
