I have a feeling that will be a highly competitive fight, just like the first one. Everybody remembers round nine but forgets that it was a very competitive back and forth SD. I don't know who wins but I can see a case for both fighters ending up on top.
Yeah but if Fisheyes controls all the belts if Fury wins it'll be in house ransom and business as usual.
On a fight by fight basis, since 2023 there have been tectonic shifts in the competitive landscape 'With almost every single top level Heavyweight fight. I do wonder? Do people in society all just live in the moment?'
The reason why I ask such a question, is because surely if you have observed and analysed boxing for many years or decades 'Then you must of seen situations in boxing era's, and fighters careers repeat over and over again. And with that experience, you understand that on fight by fight basis the competitive landscape and mass perceptions within the the sport can alter dramatically'.
People need to understand, yes Anthony Joshua has just been beaten by Daniel Dubois 'But only Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Those two fighters have been the only World to Elite level fighters who have shown the ability to avenge loses in their career. Anthony Joshua is still in the game. That is why today? I am personally moving on from the weekend's Heavyweight title fight, and I am now in regards to Anthony Joshua focusing on his future potential fights'.
My thoughts and reflection on the fight, can be read if people just search through my posts.
Note: The next mega Heavyweight title fight is set for December 21st 2024, Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Uysk II. Is there going to be another tectonic shift in the competitive landscape? I did make the remark in my reflection on Joshua vs Dubois fight. That in 2024, we have all witnessed three Heavyweight Mountains fall. Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and now most recently Anthony Joshua.
I have always personally stated that Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, Oleksandr Uysk and Anthony Joshua. Are all competition in their own competition 'To see who will be the last man standing from their era. Because their battle developed into some sort of prolonged battle and war of attrition. It does seem like the next Heavyweight era trying to spawn itself below them is now colliding into their Heavyweight Dimension.
To conclude: In the sport of Tennis, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic. Were the three dominated Tennis Players of their era, the battle between the three of those players developed into a drawn out battle, match for match, blow for blow, tournament after tournament. And there were Tennis players and era's below them that should of in any other Tennis era? Surpassed them and took over, but that did not happen. Tennis era's below those three players, spawned, had their peak and then disappeared.
And I honestly believe a similar dynamic is appearing in this Heavyweight boxing era. Because neither Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua are going to disappear after losing a fight.
If we are all honest, does Daniel Dubois skill for skill and in terms of ability? Seem like a fighter who can consistently be a dominant Heavyweight Champion? I see many fighters below the Fury, Wilder, Uysk and Joshua's era that have the ability on any given night to produce a great performance. But I am not at the point, were I see other individual's within the boxing community claiming that Daniel Dubois has just brought in a new Heavyweight era.
I don't believe this is what we witnessed on September 21st 2024 'I think Daniel Dubois, is a solid top level fighter. Who has just had his Any Given Saturday'. Eventually this type of moment and performance was going to arrive for Daniel Dubois.
But I will put respect on the feats of achievement and resumes of Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, Oleksandr Uysk and Anthony Joshua. Those fighters did not just have One Any Given Saturday. And that is why, like I have stated before in my past posts? If this Heavyweight era was made into a move, Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua those fighters are the main characters. The movie reel is still playing'.
I think it would be very sensible if certain folk within the boxing community would keep things in perspective. Daniel Dubois deserves big credit, he has truly legitimized his worthiness of being the IBF World Heavyweight Champion.
Only right now in Daniel Dubois career, has he just entered into front line of the Heavyweight battle 'But this is where Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua have been fighting for almost a decade'.
Almost a decade. In 6 months time, will Daniel Dubois still be Champion? Or will suffer a lost when he collides once again with one of the three active Heavyweight Mountains in Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Uysk or Anthony Joshua? etc.
