Man you got to respect AJ mindset and willingness of not giving up despite getting humiliated like that in front of 96k live souls and another tens of millions around the globe but objectively speaking , its extremely hard to find any positives from last weekend perfomance, he did everything wrong , you just cant train the chin ,he can do everything right in the rematch but DD only needs 1 perfectly timed punch to the chin and all the gameplan goes down the drain for AJ ,however we also got to remember Dubois himself managed to bounce back and redeem and build himself back up after getting labeled a quitter and now he's the champ, I know the age disparity between them but if AJ wants to test himself again and give it another try Fck It! Thats worthy of respect in my book and well, another chance of making millions so why not, that involves Dubois getting a substantially bigger purse too I may add.

Putting AJ in an immediate rematch with Daniel Dubois? C'mom Eddie How cruel and sadistic can you be? Don't you get it? It's over!

Joshua is now a ruined fighter who needs to retire. One cannot reverse the aging process. Both his stamina and legs are gone now due to aging.

Also, his inability to see incoming punches is also an ominous sign of an aging fighter. Lastly, both his timing and reflexes were all a split second slower than usual.

For example: It took Anthony Joshua five rounds to find and land that huge right hand of his. Which ultimately became his undoing because he was subsequently knocked spark out.

His best looked to be Usyk 2, was it Garcia his coach put him through hell, apparently Aj was always arguing & disagreeing the entire camp. Ben i see as another yes man in the camp.
Is Dubois really that basic? Great footwork & that jab went through Ajs.
I disagree. He beat Joseph Parker, no small feat. He also boxed smartly in the Ruiz rematch and got off the floor to stop a faded Wlad. I don't question his resume at all. He has a good resume. What I question is hopping around to so many trainers like he has. At some point, it's not the trainer. It's the man in the mirror.

Aj don't look at the positives, look at the negatives. Because its the negatives that caused you to get your ass bust wide open( no Diddy).

I never thought so, personally. All of that ineffective pitty-pat in exchange for getting smashed to the floor multiple times, the last one a defacto knockout? I think the judges got that one right. Just my opinion. Everybody's got em'

Rise up in a different profession. Be a philanthropist or something. You're pretty good at that.

What a disgraceful bunch of SCUM poor AJ has around him from Hearn to Freddy Cunnighnam, Frank Smith and even Davison for the love of God tell this man to retire before he gets seriously injured and can't live a normal life he's SHOT 1000%

How about starting by saying "lift your hands up Anthony"?

Dubois was very good but that was atrocious from Joshua.

I've just seen that exchange between Joshua and Davidson in the corner before the 5th round. I'm now convinced that they looked straight past Dubois and thought he'd run straight through him. Even after being battered for 4 rounds they still thought he'd smash straight through him if he went for it.

AJ has always been known for being completely professional in his preparation but that was amateur hour on Saturday.
I've also wondered if the desire to make a statement was part of the issue. Was AJ aiming for an early knockout? That might explain the low hands, inviting a wild punch from Dubois that he could then counter. Or maybe AJ just lost the plot after being hit early in the first, even before the first knockdown. But, yes, as you point out, it was Ben Davison's job to remind AJ about the fundamentals. Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face, which is where the trainer should come into play. As a side note, I don't think AJ's chin is that bad, considering the punches he took in the second round, without going down.

Joshua made lots of money for being as flawed as he is! Wilder would have had a field day before he became so shot himself.
