Hey man I’m embracing you. Now we know why you don’t have a family and kids lmao. I apologize for not realizing it from the start it was so obvious. I hope you find happiness with your partner and I’m glad you were able to express yourself at the pride parade. Fort Lauderdale may be a safe haven for broken jokes but it’s also a safe haven for your community. All the best little buddy. We’re rooting for you!

I agree but that doesn't explain why Canelo is fighting Berlanga for 30 mil and not Crawford for 80-100.

What confuses me even more is the sanctioning bodies allowing Canelo to prove to the world that the WBA, WBC, WBO have rules that don't apply if you make enough money. At some point fans will admit that they belts can be bought (likely after Canelo retires) and when they do, they'll question the need for their existence.

I highly doubt turki is offering 100M for Crawford vs canelo though. If he is offering that money Canelo would be a FOOL to not take it. Not hating on Crawford but I don’t see how Canelo loses that fight

There have been a lot of breakdowns and by every account the numbers are up there. IMO, 100 million is likely at the higher end but in either case, it's a lot of money. Assuming that Canelo is a great businessman, which he is, the only logical reason for Canelo to reject that kind of money is the risk factor.

First, before I go any further, there's no evidence that Canelo gives a shyt if he doesn't gets credit for beating guys he is supposed to beat. Canelo didn't care if he got credit for beating up Ryder, Mungia, Khan and the list goes on, it's a nonsense excuse up there with "I don't fight Mexicans."

No, the risk is not if he wins but if he doesn't win....because in that scenario the flood gates will open, every fight revisited and his legacy will be damaged. Similar to Wilder (with much better opponent selection) Canelo may believe he's better off avoiding big money, big risk fights and make up for it with a few more (can't lose) fights and retire.

In the end, I believe Canelo will retire before he fights Crawford, Morrell, Benavidez, Bivol or anyone he didn't hand pick.

Crawford ain’t that much of a threat though cmon man. We all saw the Madrimov fight. Madrimov won 5 rounds unquestionably. Bud won 7 that was an accurate and fair score imo. That’s bud against a guy who isn’t even the best at 154. Ofc there’s always the chance he could lose but it’s not even close to the same risk as Bivol/beterbiev/morrel/benevidez. No one thinks bud could stand a chance against those guys yet everyone screams for canelo to fight them. Then they also think crawford can beat him lol. It’s just not logical imo
