Comments Thread For: Tony Bellew cuts through clutter of Imane Khelif controversy

The gold medal won by Algeria's Imane Khelif in the women's welterweight competition at the just-concluded 2024 Paris Olympic Games has brought a slew of ill-informed, hot-button-pushing critics out of the woodwork. But she now has at least one new ally.

Maybe keep life simple for yourself and just don't comment on anything you don't understand, works for me.

        This is a wild topic.

From my own personal life the term "Transgender boxer" got more talk and attention from anything else at the Olympics.

Wonderful advice. I shoulda did my due diligence on that part. She still got some man in her tho. Lol. Any women going up against her are always gonna be at a great physical disadvantage. But if she is who she says she is, ain't nothing anybody can do about it. Just hope they never hafta face her. Lol

I think people (sane people anyway) understand the difference between a man and woman just fine. The fact that Khelif "made a clear statement about her gender status" basically means nothing if you look up the definition of "gender." Plenty of people make clear statements about their gender status as women whilst walking around with XY chromosomes and (at least at some point) a God given package between their legs. S3x is an actual thing. Gender really isn't. At the end of the day, with all the static and b.s. and runaround you get in and from the media these days, you don't know and you're not ever going to know. It's more a matter of not commenting on anything that doesn't really concern you or that you'll never know the actual facts or answer to. And this is a public forum with a comment section, so I always find it funny when people tell people to not have an opinion.

I always supported Khelif - in this dispute. She has a 5% KO record in over 50 fights but all these girls start crying suddenly after one makes a fuss about 2 punches that landed.

Yeah she should be banned. But it's the IOC who is the issue - not her. She's just following the rules. She doesn't have male *** organs and she was brought up as a girl. She's not cheating in any way. All the hate that was aimed at her was disgusting

This is the 6th or 7th article this site has produced on the subject, all of them have been in favour of Khelif, all have been intentionally misleading to the point of dishonesty. Sad to see this place put so much effort into propaganda, no small wonder why we have less posters here than ever before.

The new owners of this site must hate women. They have given far more attention to this boxer than to all the Olympic females combined "hey guys should we focus on one of the women who performed well?" "No, we only had 6 pro-trans articles this week, time for more misinformation and virtue signalling instead". Look up the journalist who wrote this, this is his 2nd article on Khelif in the last 3 weeks, but he has written zero articles on any other Olympic females.

Looking him up on twitter, his pinned tweet is him appearing on TMZ to defend Khelif. On google, top result is an 81 minute youtube video he has made to defend Khelif. Don't think I have ever seen a journalist go so hard on an agenda. The youtube video only had 2 views btw so cong**** on your success there, I hope it pays well.

The Olympics allow trans to compete as female. This is official, in their rules. The Olympics do not perform a simple gender test. None of the journalists on this site have spoken against that, not a single one. These journalists want to see men beat up women in support of their far left political agenda. They do not give AF about women, the vulnerable, or anything other than themselves and their freak political agendas, and they'll lie and lie to try and trick you into going along with it.

What I would ask the journalist, is if you have integrity, and you really believe you are correct, why do you need to twist reality to suit your case? Why not just present the real facts instead of the party line? Why not use logic instead of smoke and mirrors? Why do you jump on Bellew's comments and frame them as rational and representative of the wider boxing world? Yet will not do so with the many boxers and ex-boxers who have spoken out against this?

Female boxers like Shields and Bridges spoke out on this and you ignored them because that went against your agenda. But a male like Bellew agrees and so you want to tell us he's the 'Official Voice of Reason'. Bellew has made multiple ****** comments in the past but apparently he's the authority on women's sport, more so than actual women. How progressive?
