I don't think he'll get booked for a major fight of any kind again after all of these injuries, and Thurman has shown little appetite for taking any more "rebuild" kinda fights.
If we see him back, it will be a situation where he comes in as a late replacement to face a name guy. But otherwise, I think he's done.
And inactivity had nothing to do with it: he was as active as anyone until he got his first elbow injury. He was never the same after that.
