Honestly, I think it would benefit Ortiz to have a tough fight and get some rounds considering he's fought two rounds the past couple of years.

Interesting fight, IMHO the only thing special about Serhii Bohachuk is his high guard defensive style and his ability to impose his will because of it

I suspect it’ll be the other way around and Ortiz might find his power doesn’t make a dent against the top end of the 154 division just like Crawford did. To be fair to Ortiz he’s had slightly more time to acclimatise to 154, but he’s looking like the fighter coming up and Bohachuk looks like the guy cutting to make weight.

Ortiz can load up on his punches and I think if Bohachuk is still there by 6 he’ll wear Ortiz down and stop him late on. Ortiz hasn’t fought good enough competition or had tough enough fights to prepare him for this guy.

I’d like to see Ortiz win as I like his style and attitude. Just think he should’ve been matched harder up till this point and it’s going to come back to bite him.

Guys who do well in a division primarily due to a size advantage seldom do as well as expected when they move up, at least at first - Benavidez, Morrell and I suspect Ortiz.

Guys who win due to skill don’t - Inoui, Pac, De La Hoya, Mayweather, Usyk.
