I agree with Hopkins on this, mma is also a white sport since most of them don't know how to fight this is something they can do and try and compare it to boxing. Every health fitness gym I go to every guy says he's an mma fighter. You don't hear them saying that they are boxers because it takes something special to be a boxer. And it's a respect thing. I also agree with him about laying on the ground and a guy is all behind you and ****. that's not a cool look. with women i do a woman that does mma and she is a lesbian so there is a very strong possibility Hopkins is right

so does this mean he denounces calzaghe pumping him in the buttocks?...
I don't watch routinely the MMA but in reality it has brought new fans into boxing. The MMA fans realized that boxing is one of the diciplines implemented in the training and adopted fighting styles of alot of the fighters. MMA got more exciting when strikers started to emerge and transformed the sport. As a few years ago boxing was dwindling down and now as evidence it has been doing better numbers even on this recession.
A lot of MMA fans have been starting to ask me of upcomming bouts and fights like Cotto/Pac and the Super Six will bring even more fans to our sport. Easy to diss the MMA but when you have an objective look at it boxing doesn't lose fans cause of it

That's right, most of my friends who were MMA fans got interested then in Jiujitsu, muay thai and most of all boxing. I bet you a lot of fans who started watching boxing in 2006/7 are former MMA guys.
