Froch always had a bee in his bonnet with British fighters of colour. Same with his beef w Amir Khan who admittedly did himself no favors w foolish antics - just a vibe Froch gives off and along w posts supporting Suella Braverman, his brother being BNP supporter etc.

A vibe that those who know this ‘type’ of character are about. He doesn’t have same ‘energy’ for white fighters being ‘chinny’ etc.

As Andre Ward put it nicely he was an overachiever who would have been beaten easily by Calzaghe who he dodged for dear life - this is well known.

I generally like Froch's honest take on the sport and not being a "company man" by calling things how he sees them without any affiliation to anyone.

Thing is, he's been talking negatively about AJ for years (some of it has been warranted) and AJ was recently asked about Froch and he called him a prick. He's entitled to his opinion the same way Froch is but Froch spent about 15 minutes crying about it on his youtube channel. Showing screenshots of a text back and forth they had where Froch is clearly trying to get a reaction from AJ saying **** like "do something about it *****" while crying about AJ's audacity for responding to his provocations.

Froch needs to understand that if he's going to dish out insults then some of that might come back to him and he's not in a position to act completely shocked when it does. Showing screenshots of their text conversation on his youtube channel is also a btch move.

Froch had an iron-clad resume and never took a knee or quit. AJ has a very good resume, but will always be remembered as the guy who quit on his feet against Mexican-American Michelin Man as a 9:1 favorite in MSG.

Carl Froch is the guy that gets jealous at someone else's birthday party. Sure, every once in awhile Carl is right but even a broken clock is right once a day.
