The conversation before you chimed on was about the incentive for canelo. So I mentioned financial as one. Clearly that’s a major and likely the primary one for canelo because despite his claims of chasing greatness, he clearly prioritizes the money. He’s had major disputes with both Dazn and PBC and has bounced between both due to him wanting a certain level of pay that they believed was excessive for lesser opposition. He’s gone in record and said the only way he’d face benavidez (which is really the best match that can be made for him at 168) was if he got paid 150-200 mil. So the financial incentive is there. What’s not ideal for him is the risk.

Craword should man up anf fight Canelo. Canelo is small for 168. He was a champion at 147, 154, 160, 168 and 175. His naturall weight is 154 but he dared to be great, unlike the GGGs and Bivols of this era. Crawford isabout the same size of Canelo. Donīt Afro As have a lot of muscle mass? Fight Canelo!!!!!!

He's the biggest name in boxing, so he can realistically do whatever he wants.

He can retire right now or get a match with random generated boxer number 17 from Turkmenistan and ride off into the sunset and it's not going to effect anything for him.

If he wants money and that's it, he may as well. Taking Saudi Money is a double edged sword though it seems like.

If not, there's not much in the landscape or around his weight class other than maybe setting up a match with Errol Spence Jr at 168.

Errol is still a draw and probably still a bigger draw than Crawford even with the recent loss. So, it's a wild card match that could happen over Bud, Benavidez, and Bivol
