Cuz it literally was. If Fury doesn't get dropped in the 9th the fight is a draw. Hell the 9th rd was competitive iirc til it went extremely sideways for Fury so if Fury had not only avoided the KD but won that rd he wins the fight. And I don't believe these judges to be off base THAT much. They agreed unanimously on 8 (4-4) of the 12rds & the fight was decided on the other 4rds. A fight decided by a point is always close imo.

I'm not arguing that the official decision wasn't razor close. I'm saying that the fight itself wasn't that close. Fury got outboxed and outworked for 3/4 of the fight.

look hitting a fighter with one uppercut and slightly knocking him back is not having a fighter going…..it’s wishful thinking and it’s easier said than done hitting usyk over and over again, he is to skilled to elusive and to clever for that…..I will give fury credit for giving it his all but that is what usyk does , he adjusts and then takes over, he did that even with Joshua when joshua had him all over the ring in the 8 or 9th in the rematch …..fury’ was having a little success with landing a shot every now and then but that’s not enough to beat someone’s as complete a fighter as usyk…..usyk was never endanger of losing come on weeber that’s ridiculous to say that.
All fights have momentum shifts and real great fighters are able to adapt and go god mode, usyk has that ability period

I think this your hindsight speaking plunger, at the time a lot of people thought Usyk was competitively done (see fight thread/social media). Both Fury and Joshua didn't put the foot down when they had Usyk hurt (Fury more than Joshua). You describe Usyk as having God-mode, where was it against Breidis? There are no Gods in boxing, only men, I look forward to the rematch.

I never brought the topic up in this discussion but one of your Tyson fanboys did. He said that Fury cheated Wilder I didn’t.

I even credited Fury for the victory before re-watching it again. Fury wants a rematch and I wonder why?

He can’t whup Usyk. He should fight Anthony Joshua instead. I am more than convinced that Usyk would knock Fury out in a rematch.

Only 4 of these 21 media scores had Usyk winning 3/4's of the fight like you had it.
