He had no other choice, plus everyone was asking for Tarver vs Dawson I, and Dawson vs Johnson I.

The winner of Pascal-Diaconu II, or Jones-Hopkins II would be the next logical opponent for Dawson if he happens to get by Johnson. And you know it's most likely going to be the winner of Jones-Hopkins because HBO will offer more money for that fight. Then down the line he can fight Pascal/Diaconu.

No kidding man. I can't hate on Chad just because he fought Tarver and Johnson. It's not his fault that Tarver had a rematch clause and a lot of people including myself thought Johnson beat him. So he'd get bashed by me if he did anything other than rematch Johnson. Calzaghe pulled out of three fights with him because he needed to get painted finger nails.

IMO, old Glen Johnson is better fighter than Chad during his prime, but that was before. Just can't see him win against young Chad on their rematch!

U gotta respect the road warrior!! He stood active enough to make this match entertaining against a young lion like dawson!!! First fight was great.. Takin nothing away from dawson but im rooting for johnson!!!
